I woke up from a dream with the melody for this next song playing in my head, and I quickly opened my DAW and built on it from there. The narrative is about two young siblings separated while on the run from an unknown adversary who hunts them down. However, as the sister grows older, she learns to survive on her own, hardened by the events she experiences, and rugged from the solitude.

The instrumentation is inspired by the soundtrack from the Arcane series, and the narrative is indirectly inspired by Limbo and the Little Nightmares games.
